This is an introductory course at multimedia applications. Broad in scope, the course starts from design concepts in the first months and it concludes with animation softwares. Students will be made aware of all the possibilities that the Adobe software packages offer, and by practical work on plenty of projects, they should get fluent at designing raster and vector graphics, as well as creating simple flash animations.

This interactive course brings students into the realm of web development. Students that attend this course will acquire a better understanding of the general picture of the internet, how data is created, manipulated, and transferred through the services of the world wide network. The class will discuss and analyze ongoing trends in the IT world as well as upcoming developing technologies and frameworks that are being used by all major IT companies. Students will develop web pages that incorporate text, audio, video and graphics by using HTML, Javascript, and CSS. Students determine and employ methods to evaluate the design, functionality, and security of online information in various settings. In addition, students will learn fundamental programming skills for developing web applications. These skills can then be applied to other, higher level programming languages, other computer-related courses, the school environment, and the workplace.

This one-semester course focuses on C++ computer-programming. The purpose of this course is to teach students the applications of computing within the context of programming methodology, algorithms, and data structures. Students work with and comprehend the use of a compiler in their programming. Students have to create, program and complete an entire working program using C++.
