When creating the schedules, we try to take constructive suggestions and weigh them against common practices found across international schools. We are very pleased to announce several major changes that will positively affect teaching and learning at our school:
- Classes will meet in 80-minute blocks on Mondays and Thursdays (Advisory days), or in 85-minute blocks on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. All classes start promptly at 8:00h, and finish by 15:00h.
- The Homeroom class has been renamed into Advisory; there are multiple Advisories for each grade level. In order to allow greater individual care, Advisories are comprised of smaller groups of students. All full-time teachers assume the role of Advisory leaders.
- We gave the Advisory class 30 minutes, twice per week on Mondays and Thursdays, in order to encourage proper socialization and support, and we regrouped the Advisory students according to their grade;
- All classes meet for a full year. We've equaled the amount of time and resources given to each class, both elective and core. Classes either meet on A-days or B-days, effectively every other day.There is a common lunch time, and a shorter afternoon common snack for all students and teachers.

- We've shortened day for students from 15:40 to 15:00h, and dedicated the last hour for teacher classroom planning.
Sample Timetable of Classes
We start the year with a shortened A-day, then alternate between full A/B days, regardless of the day of the week. For example: if Tuesday is a B-day, Wednesday is a non-working day, than Thursday will be an A-day. Shortened (PD) days or review days follow the same pattern.
The School building is open to students between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 pm daily. Access to the facilities outside of these times is permitted in the presence of a faculty or staff member, with prior administrative approval.
