PTA

The NOVA parent Teacher Association (PTA) consists of five committees:

• School Improvement
• Community Service
• School events & excursions
• Fund raising and
• Welcoming committee

This year the NOVA PTA expanded its membership to 50 parents and teachers, actively involved in planning and realization of several projects and activities. NOVA PTA developed a methodology for a more active involvement of parents in CAS and Community Service Program, inviting parents to join and demonstrate the necessity for becoming socially responsible individuals. Several campaigns have been announced among which priority will be given to the Campaign on Drugs, Alcohol, Smoking, the Book Drive, and introducing an International Day at NOVA, celebrating the school’s vibrant diversity of nationalities, cultures, and religions. Our very successful NOVA Family Bazaar has already become an annual fund-raising event organized by the NOVA PTA, which has raised funds for multiple charitable causes.
