We encourage students to ask questions and find answers

Our curriculum is designed to build strong foundations in Reading/ Language Arts and Mathematics while enriching the students’ learning through integrated studies in the Science, Information Technology, the Arts, and Physical Education. Students develop their English language literacy by focusing on listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. In Science students explore the relationship between living things and their environment, the formation of the earth and its landforms, and basic physics. In the Fine and Performing Arts, students learn dance and visual arts to encourage self expression and creativity. The Physical Education program encourages an active, healthy lifestyle through exercise and sports, and fosters a positive self-image.

Textbooks as well as other resources come from the United States and the UK. The math program is Everyday Math from the University of Chicago Press. We continue to develop a very strong Literacy program, accommodating all levels of English language proficiency.  Reading and Language Arts anthologies and workbooks are from the American Open Court series. We also use leveled book sets and are developing a library that encourages daily reading for pleasure and an exploration of genres...
