As the first semester comes to a close, our students are immersing themselves in a variety of enriching activities! Our creative fifth-graders are preparing for the Figurative Language Parade, where they'll bring idioms and proverbs to life through imaginative costumes. Over in the Secondary School, thought-provoking panel discussions on politics will feature keynote speakers and dynamic debates that promise to inspire critical thinking and dialogue. Meanwhile, our youngest first-grade learners will visit the Skopje airport for a hands-on exploration of this mode of transportation, connecting classroom lessons to the real world. And, of course, the popular student-led movie nights will continue every Wednesday, offering secondary students a fun and relaxing midweek break.

What better way to start the new year than by celebrating our seniors' academic achievements? We’re thrilled to announce that one of our senior students has received a conditional offer to pursue a Bachelor of Law (with Honors) at the prestigious University of Westminster in the UK. Another senior has been accepted into Temple University in Philadelphia, USA, with Genomic Medicine as their intended major—a fantastic step toward a future in cutting-edge science and healthcare.

The first school day back from winter break brought us more than fresh notebooks and reunited friends—it graced our campus with a blanket of sparkling snow! Students embraced the pristine air and picturesque scenery, building snowmen and testing their football skills on the snowy field. Laughter echoed across the grounds as they slid across the ice, attempting to score goals and transforming our campus into a lively winter wonderland filled with energy and joy. 

✨As we transition back from the winter break, our faculty and staff came together for a special day of professional development focused on belonging. Divided into collaborative groups, the teams explored ways to strengthen our community’s sense of belonging. Discussions delved into vital topics such as combating discrimination in all its forms, ensuring equal access to resources, and fostering equitable treatment for every member of our community. Together, our faculty and staff worked on crafting a powerful Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) statement that reflects our mission: nurturing balanced, informed, and empathetic thinkers to embrace their full potential.

Students in first through fifth grade took us on an unforgettable journey with their dazzling winter performance of Sing 2! From incredible singing and dancing to heartfelt acting, they brought the story to life in a way that captivated everyone in the audience. Parents, families, and teachers were beaming with pride as our young stars showcased their hard work, creativity, and talent.

We are thrilled to announce that our senior students have achieved incredible milestones! One student has been accepted to the prestigious National Taiwan University and its International College Global Undergraduate Program in semiconductors, stepping into a field driving the future of technology. Another has secured a spot at Roanoke College in the US, pursuing their passion for biology and neuroscience. Meanwhile, a graduate will join the vibrant academic community at University College Utrecht, an honors liberal arts and sciences program at Utrecht University, where they'll enjoy the freedom to create an individualized curriculum and explore interdisciplinary studies.
