NOVA International School Skopje is a close-knit, international community where children are known, supported, and encouraged to grow with confidence. Founded in 1997, NOVA is an International Baccalaureate World Continuum School, offering a clear and coherent learning journey from the early years to graduation. Learning takes place on a purpose-built campus set within a residential neighborhood near the city center, designed to support focus, connection, and student well-being. Under the initiative of the Crochet Club, and inspired by Ms. Iva Mickovska’s vision over the past two years, NOVA organized a blanket drive for the Daycare Centre for street children in Shuto Orizari, which provides education and support to children aged 5–16.

Our Lower Secondary students proudly represented NOVA at the CEESA Mathcounts tournament hosted by the American International School of Budapest, alongside peers from Sofia, Bucharest, Tirana, Azerbaijan, and Belgrade.

We are proud to share that our Grade 9 student, Andjela Stanojevikj, has won Second Place in the Oxford Royale Essay Competition (ages 12–15). Her essay was selected from a highly competitive international pool, with only five students worldwide recognized in this age category.

Over the weekend, faculty and staff gathered for a French cooking class hosted by FJ Culinary School, as part of our ongoing staff well-being program. Preparing classic French dishes required patience, teamwork, and creativity.
