Dear Families,

Welcome to NOVA International School Skopje's website! We are excited to have this platform to connect with you and showcase what makes our school so special.

We are a diverse school that primarily serves the international community as well as local families with a global outlook. We are proud to be recognized as a school that celebrates and embraces the local diversity found here in Skopje.

Our focus on preparing students to attend universities worldwide is at the forefront of our educational mission. We understand that student well-being and safety are critical preconditions to learning, and we empower learning through caring and well-trained educators who come from multiple countries and add another layer of diversity to our school community.

We are an IB World School since 2006, and our rigorous curriculum prepares students for an ever-changing world, allowing them to continue their education elsewhere easily. We are also proud to be accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools (MSA), which adds another layer to the recognizability and transferability of our educational model.

Our students and staff come from more than 40 different countries and all local ethnicities, helping us create a multicultural context where ideas and learning can thrive. We are proud of the diversity and richness of perspectives that our community represents.

We understand that learning happens not just in the classroom but also outside of regular school hours. We offer a wide range of extracurricular activities through our After School Activities program and SuperNOVA academic and athletics, which provide students with opportunities to explore their interests, learn new skills, and develop their talents. Our Student Council and student-run clubs give students the chance to take on leadership roles, plan events, and collaborate with their peers. And, our experiential learning opportunities, such as the Week Without Walls, allow students to learn beyond the classroom and gain a deeper understanding of the world around them.

Our focus on providing a well-rounded education extends beyond academics to include social and emotional learning, physical fitness, and the arts. We believe that these experiences and opportunities help our students develop into well-rounded individuals who are prepared for success in a global community.
