Something to Look Forward to After School

Our After School Activities (ASA) give students opportunities to move, make, perform, experiment, and spend time doing something they enjoy. Depending on their age, they might practice yoga, play basketball or chess, build with robotics, learn to code, sing in a choir, perform on stage, or create something artistic.

The program runs in trimesters throughout the school year and includes athletic, academic, technology-based, and creative activities for different age groups. NOVA and outside instructors provide activities, bringing different skills and experiences to the program.

A Chance to Try Something Different

After-school time gives children room to explore in a different setting from their regular classes.

A child who loves to build can try Young Engineers or robotics. A student curious about technology can explore coding, game design, Python, or AI. Those who enjoy being active can choose from options such as basketball, soccer, yoga, or ping-pong, while students drawn to performance and creativity can explore ballet, hip-hop, choir, drama, and art.

More Than an Activity

There is something special about choosing to stay after school because you want to master a chess move, finish a creation, rehearse a performance, solve a coding problem, or play alongside friends.

These small experiences give children opportunities to practice, make mistakes, work with others, and see what they can do with time and effort. They also enrich the school day by giving students another way to connect with classmates and adults through a shared activity.
