The first official Nova Alumni Association (NAA) General Assembly was held in September 2018. More than 60 NOVA returned to their high school building to make history and create the NAA.

In September 2018, more than 60 NOVA alumni returned to their school to establish the Nova Alumni Association (NAA), joined by faculty, staff, student council and Parent-Teacher Association representatives, and Advisory Board members. Since then, the school has taken gradual steps to strengthen ties with its alumni. The aim is to build a network where former students can stay connected, learn from one another, and contribute to the school’s life.
Once Part of NOVA, Always Part of the Community
NOVA alumni have taken many different paths since leaving school. They study and work in different countries, build careers in different fields, start families, change direction, and continue learning along the way.
Wherever life takes them, NOVA gives former students a way to stay connected with the people and place that were part of their school years.
With more than 3,500 alumni, the NOVA community now reaches well beyond Skopje.

Alumni continue to contribute to NOVA in many ways. They give their time and expertise, share professional and academic experience with students, support school initiatives, and contribute to fundraising efforts.
Some of the most useful conversations Secondary students can have are with people who once sat in the same classrooms.
Through #AlumniTalks, our alumni return to share their academic and professional journeys with current students. They talk about the choices they made after graduation, what they learned at university and at work, what surprised them along the way, and what they wish they had understood at 18.
Alumni also take part in Career Day, giving students a firsthand look at different professions and career paths. These conversations give students practical advice as they begin thinking about study, work, and the decisions ahead.

The NOVA Alumni Association gives former students a way to reconnect with classmates and teachers and stay connected to life at the school.
Alumni can hear about reunions and events, share personal and professional updates, receive NOVA’s newsletters, reconnect with former classmates, and find opportunities to contribute to the NOVA community.
