The IB MYP Personal Project asks them to choose a passion, set their own goal, and carry it through months of independent work. Nobody hands them the topic. They go and find it.
The June 2026 results are in. Our Personal Project average came in at 5.24 out of 7, against a worldwide average of 3.99, and seventeen students earned the top grade of 7.
The result we are quietly proudest of is a different one. For the second year running, the grades our teachers predicted matched the final IB grades exactly.
Our Grade 10s also sit external, IB-marked on-screen exams at the end of the programme. In Integrated Humanities, the cohort average rose from 4.36 to 4.79, closing the distance to the global average.
Balance, integrity, and the confidence to follow your own curiosity. That is what the Personal Project is really assessing, and it is what we want every Nova learner to carry out the door with them.
