On October 5, in honor of this special day, our Parent Teacher Association organized a warm gathering, offering coffee and healthy snacks to show our respect for our incredible teacher community. This day marks the anniversary of the 1966 UNESCO Recommendation on the Status of Teachers, a pivotal moment that set the foundation for educators' rights, responsibilities, and professional growth. We deeply appreciate everything our teachers do to shape the minds of future leaders, and we stand united in valuing their voices and contributions.
This year’s theme, “Valuing Teacher Voices: Towards a New Social Contract for Education,” serves as a reminder of the critical role educators play in society. As we reflect on the ongoing challenges facing the profession, let’s continue to elevate and respect the voices of teachers who nurture the next generation of changemakers.
