Layers of Learning: Grade 1 Explore the Rainforest Ecosystem

As part of their unit, students explored the different layers of the rainforest, discovered how plants and animals depend on one another, and learned how even small environmental changes can affect the balance of an entire ecosystem.

To bring their learning to life, students also visited Jumping Clay, where each child created their own rainforest animal, combining scientific understanding with imagination and creativity.
