Learning Beyond the Classroom: A Visit to the National Bank

Learning Beyond the Classroom: A Visit to the National Bank

Throughout the summer, we're looking back at some of the meaningful learning experiences that shaped the past school year and highlighting how our students connect classroom learning with the world around them.

As part of their Unit of Inquiry, *People use money and trade to get what they need and want*, our Grade 2 students visited the National Bank to explore the history of money and how it has evolved across different societies.

Through interactive exhibits and age-appropriate activities, students discovered how historical, social, and cultural events have influenced the design and use of money.

At NOVA, we believe learning becomes even more meaningful when students can see its real-world connections.

Stay with us this summer as we continue sharing moments that reflect the curiosity, exploration, and thoughtful learning.
