Tenth-grade Students Host the Synesthetic Expressions Exhibition, Showcasing Their Fusion of Music and Art

This interdisciplinary project provided students with a deeply enriching learning experience! Students explored how music shapes visual renditions (and vice versa), enhanced their understanding of form and composition, and developed their ability to transfer knowledge across creative disciplines. The project also fostered collaboration, creative problem-solving, and peer-to-peer learning.

🎶 Last week, our 10th-grade students presented the Synesthetic Expressions exhibit, a remarkable blend of music and visual arts. Inspired by the renowned Kandinsky method, they transformed their impressions of Bernard Herrmann's haunting "Vertigo Suite" into stunning visual masterpieces. But their creativity didn't stop there! These artworks served as inspiration for composing original horror music pieces, creating a unique dialogue between sound and sight.
