University and Career Counseling: Supporting the Journey Ahead

The NOVA University Counseling Office recently welcomed Grade 11 parents for an important session focused on supporting students as they prepare for Grade 12 and the university application process ahead.

During the session, families had the opportunity to meet the counseling team who will be working closely with next year’s seniors, while also gaining a clearer understanding of the university application journey, including school policies, application timelines, required documentation, financial considerations, and the shared roles and responsibilities involved throughout the process.

We believe that students are best supported when schools and families work in partnership. Timely, thoughtful, and constructive parent involvement plays an important role in helping students navigate decisions about their future with confidence and clarity.

We are grateful for the strong attendance and meaningful engagement from our parent community, and we look forward to continuing this important work together.
