Secondary School

The Secondary School is authorized by the IBO to deliver the  Middle Years Programs (MYP) in grades 6-10 and the Diploma Program (DP) in grades 11-12. Students experience learning in real-world contexts through the exploration of service, creativity and critical thinking, and interdisciplinary learning. Both programs combine rigorous expectations with skill building to prepare students for successful post-secondary learning.

We emphasize balance in education by providing a robust arts, design, and physical education curriculum. Students are encouraged and celebrated in and out of the classroom through performances, competitions, and demonstrations.

The IB Diploma Programme is a highly rigorous academic program, with a university readiness in mind, that prepares students both for writing extended essays and frames activities that help develop our students into well-rounded individuals. The students are engaged in in-depth academic discussions and experiences and are expected to have well-developed critical thinking skills in all six subjects that they choose. While the subjects that are on Standard Level contribute to encouraging a broad knowledge in multiple areas, the Higher Level subjects allow students to gain a more in-depth knowledge and understanding of the content that is their main interest and possible future academic field of study.

Our holistic educational approach in Secondary School is demonstrated by the students' involvement in activities that benefit the broader social context in which they live and by their participation in physical and creative activities. It allows them to express themselves in multiple ways, to have a clear view of their ambitions, and to identify personal aspirations that would guide them on their future path.
